Our Story:

We grew up with a Mother that was always making changes to our home decor. She knew how to design on a dime. The most memorable cost saving project was when she bought a bolt of blue and green floral fabric. She used every single inch of fabric. She started with pleated drapes for the living room, then recovered lamp shades. With fabric still leftover, she made matching dresses for herself and us girls, along with matching dresses for our dolls. Her creativity was not limited to sewing. If she had paint and contact paper, she could change and transform any room decor in a matter of hours.

Her creative juices flowed over to us girls. For many years we decorated and re-decorated our homes. Each change prompted many compliments with someone asking if we could do the same in their homes. As the years progressed we helped friends and family and we thought why not take a shot at selling some of our rescued, repurposed and redesigned furniture and decor? We had our first “show” in 2009 and have been busy ever since. As with our Mother, we find great joy in creating something beautiful and purposeful out of something that is lifeless. We get so much enjoyment seeing past a pieces’ current stage, improving it, and transforming it into something fresh and fun. Thank you Mom for teaching us that there truly is beauty in everything.

Redesigning Sisters

What we do:

Furniture Redesign:

We have a passion for flipping furniture. Sometimes, all a piece needs is a “spa day”. We can turn an old, outdated, out of style piece of furniture into a creative, modern one that will fit into your home decor. We love to use paint, along with glazing and distressing to obtain a beautiful, timeless look. We enjoy taking a piece that’s decades old, and giving it new life.

Restyled decor:

Our Mom taught us, sometimes a great accent item just needs a fresh coat of color. This is where our “treasure hunting” happens. It’s very satisfying to rescue the “good-old stuff”, to give it new life, new purpose and a fresh look.

Hand painted signs:

Our Mom loved quotes and sayings. She also enjoyed creating with fonts and scripts. This has also been passed onto us. We create hand painted signs for the home. We have many to choose from in addition to our custom sign services.
